New Year's Eve and the Bar Exam

Some of you had a great year and passed the bar exam.  Well done!

For others, your time is coming.  Congrats on continuing to pursue your dreams!

New Year's Eve can be quite an interesting time.  For those who took the bar exam but haven't passed yet, it's a time to look back and feel pain and sorrow.  In 1999, I chose a different approach.  I chose to think about the opportunities that the new year presented.  I felt that the next year was my year and that I was going to put it all together, pass the bar exam, and have the best year of my life!

So, as 11:55 came along, I started getting very excited about what was coming.  I could do this.  I could pass the California Bar Examination.  Next year wasn't simply coming soon.  I was catapulting myself into the best year of my life!

And that's precisely what happened.  I passed the February 2000 California Bar Examination and moved on with the rest of my life.

I hope you have fun and that you are safe on this New Year's Eve.  And I hope that you catapult yourself into 2012 and have the best year of your life as well!
