Some recent endorsements from February 2010:
"Failing the bar exam felt awful. I thought that there's no way
that I could look at the archaic principles of real property ever
again. After months of studying, dozens of hi-lighters,
countless flash cards, and an ungodly amount of money spent
on caffeinated beverages, I felt emotionally exhausted and I
sincerely didn't think I could go through the process again.
Fortunately, a family friend recommended Steven. He
understood my frustration, helped me realize where I went
wrong the first time around, and gave me the much-needed
confidence that I could conquer the stupid bar exam on my
second attempt.
Although Steven's strategy might seem too 'alternative' at first
glance, it was extremely effective. Doing zero memorization
until two weeks before the exam gave me a lot of anxiety, but
putting my trust in Steven certainly paid off. If you want to
pass the bar, you should trust him, too." - Ilana Sabes, Esq.,
Hastings alum, passed the February 2010 Cal Bar Exam.
And another remarkable story:
"When I first contacted Steven Harris I had just recently found out I
did not pass the July 2009 bar, it was a stressful time to say the
least. During the course of our conversation I told Steve of my
woeful essay and performance test scores. Steve assured me that
he could help. Then I told Steve that my wife was pregnant and that
my daughter was due to be born the week before the February
2010 Bar, bad timing, yet Steve reassured me that he could help
me so long as I followed a personalized plan he would craft for me.
Through the use of WINNIN’ TIME, and Steve’s constructive and
detailed critiques of my essays and PTs, I began to understand the
streamlined and simple method of writing passing bar answers.
Steve had prepared a three day window during the middle of the
memorization period to allow me to be with my wife during the birth
of our daughter. Sure enough, the Tuesday before the bar my little
girl was born. I called my mother to let her know everyone was
healthy and then I called Steve. Steve congratulated me and then
he pressed me to stick to the personalized schedule.
I followed my personalized schedule to the T, including using the
window of time to be with my wife, my newborn daughter, and my
three-year-old son. I finished the last few days of the memorization
period then took the bar. I had slept for the minimalist of hours
before the bar, yet through Steven Harris, WINNIN’ TIME, and The
Trigger List I had a well developed plan of attack. Three months
later I found out I had passed the California bar." – Jared Favero,
Esq., McGeorge Alum, passed the February 2010 Cal Bar Exam.
And another...
"I recommend Steven Harris and his tutoring program to anyone
considering getting a bar exam tutor. I graduated from an out of
state law school over 10 years ago but never took the bar exam. I
took the California bar for the first time and didn't pass. I was
skeptical about paying for another bar review course (I took Bar-
Bri), but I knew I wouldn't pass if I took the same course again.
Steven showed me exactly how and what to study. His study
program taught me how to score essay points by spotting key words
(triggers) and how to tackle, and beat, the Performance Test. I
passed on my 2nd try, thanks to Steven. It was definitely money
well spent." - Tony Ross, Esq., passed the February 2010 Cal Bar
Exam
